Windows 10: Windows Settings says that Microsoft Edge needs to be Restored with Default settings even...

When I open up Windows Settings, I see that Microsoft Edge needs to be Restored and So i click on it and it does nothing and plus Everything in edge is synced so what gives can someone please help is this a Windows update Bug.

2. Click System and click default apps.

3. Click web browser and select Microsoft edge.

However, you can reset Microsoft edge and check it that helps. Follow the below steps.

  Navigate to the location:
  
  C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge_8wekyb3d8bbwe
  
• 
  Delete everything in this folder.
  
• 
  Type Windows Powershell in search box.
  
• 
  Right click on Windows Powershell and select Run as administrator.
  
• 
  Copy and paste the following command.
  
  Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers -Name Microsoft.MicrosoftEdge | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml" –Verbose}
