Windows 10: Windows shortcut keys stopped working but works for new user

Windows key shortcuts suddenly stopped working Windows 10Few weeks ago i plugged an external keyboard tm680 into my laptop and i used the windows key lock function on my external keyboard. After I was finished using it i turned the windows key back on and ever since then some of the windows key shortcuts have stopped working. For example, the win + shift + s, win + a, stopped working but some still works like win+p and win+tab.I have tried updating my windows 10, reinstalling keyboard drivers, changed keyboard regions, changed keyboard languages. Windows 10 shortcut key not working - Please help

Hey guys,

I'm trying to create a shortcut key for a program/script that turns off my monitor. I've confirmed that the small program is working by double clicking on it. The problem I'm having is that when I go to create a shortcut key for it. First I create a shortcut to the program, then I set a shortcut key, say "ctrl-shift-s". After applying the changes, clicking Ok, I try to use the shortcut by pressing the ctrl-shift-s key combination. When I do this, nothing happens. I've confirmed that shortcut keys works with other apps like the Command Prompt. Does anyone have any insight to this?

Keyboard stops working after switching users...

Hi,

I have a very annoying issue that hast started to happen a few days ago. Basically when I switch users keyboard stops working.

Steps:

• Start PC
• Log in as user A - Keyboard works fine
• Switch User B - login screen is displayed and keypboard works to enter password
• User B descktop is displayed
  • Keyboard does not work
  • Mouse works
  • Strange behaviour - the system seems to act like the Enter key is stuck down (which it isn't). If I open word to a new document (using mouse) it just inserts new lines into the document... like I am holding the enter key down

I've tried a different keyboard and still the same issue.

Any ideas?

 

random keyboard keys stop working?

i went out today and everything was fine, i come home and three random keys stopped working, maybe more i havent noticed yet. the three key on the left side of the keyboard not working, the left shift stopped working, and the enter key stopped working, but the one on the numpad works fine. no one was home to use it, nothing spilled on it, i tried it on another computer and same deal. im gonna go buy a new one tomorrow but it makes me sad cause i loved this keyboard lol, microsoft ergonomic 4000. ill probably buy the same exact one if its in stock tomorrow, this one lasted or 4 years about. im just confused why three random keys spread out stopped working at the same time...seems very weird
