Windows 10: Windows Shows 2nd SSD but don't show up in file manager

Hey everyone!So, one year ago I bought my new laptop and decided to have a dual boot system. Since I knew that I was going to dual boot the system, I decided to buy a 2nd SSD for my laptop as it has a 2nd slot for SSD as well.1st Slot has Windows 112nd Slot has Ubuntu 22.04Everything worked out fine till today my laptop showed me GNU grub line when I decided to boot up into Ubuntu SSD. And after that, I decided to check whether the Ubuntu SSD is showing up on my Windows file manager or not since I assigned 150GB to Ubuntu and 350GB to Windows. But this time it doesn't show up in the file manag

2nd Drive Files not Showing in Quick search

Hi all,

Background: I'm running Windows 10, anniversary update; with two physical drives, each also shown as a logical volume (C and D).

Issue: When searching from the Start menu, files on my C drive show up, however the ones on D do not.

Troubleshooting I have done so far:

• Verify that the 2nd Drive (D) has indexing enabled
• Verify that the folders on the drive also have indexing enabled
• Rebuild index
• The files DO appear when searching the 2nd drive via Windows Explorer, but NOT through the start search

Is this a known issue, and what steps can I take to resolve this?

 

Help! Data partition not showing under my computer

This is happening on a windows 2000 server. Our second partition of the system, for data is not showing under my computer. Here are the properties of it in disk management:





Now under logical drives its listed as F and shows free space available.

Suggestions on how to fix this?

 

SSD Not showing in Device Manager after OS Reinstall

Hi Dan,

I've gone through the steps.

1. In DIsk management, no uninitialized disk showed up.

2,3,4 Not applicable since it doesnt show up in disk management.

Also, Minitool partition wizard doesn't see the SSD either, probably because the BIOS doesn't recognize the SSD (the drive type shows None).

5. Drive doesnt show up in Minitool so not doable.

6. The SSD is enabled in the BIOS. I've tried disabling then re-enabling.

As for updating the drivers, I've updated the IDE ATA/ATAPI controller drivers, and also tried Intel's SSD Toolkit to see drivers, but nothing found that's related to SSD.

The final step using seaTools says it doesnt test SATA.
