I'm using Windows 10 Home 64 I have been at this problem all day. I have 100% ruled out the hardware but here it is. Ryzen 3700X Gigabyte B450/M Thermal take cooler not sure what model its better than the Ryzen stock fan. Intel 1 TB M.2 SSD Gigabyte RTX 3070 Deep Cool 650 M V2 L Oloy Ram 8 x 2 The only thing I find in events is Windows shut down improperly. The hardware is brand new and running flawlessly plus I switched it all out and got the same problem. It's running fine for about two hours and all of a sudden the screen goes black and after a second it goes to the Welcome screen. The computer never shuts off. The CPU temp is perfect. The voltage is perfect. DISM didnt find anything and neither did SFC Scan. At first it was a boot issue it would get to the welcome screen I would enter my pin and it would restart the entire machine. Then I held shift hit restart and got into advanced start up I blocked it from being able to restart on failure. I thought the problem was solved to the point I could figure it out but I cant because now it stays on and Windows shuts down but there are no errors nothing. I sat there for two hours with a movie and several YouTube videos all running at once the temp on the CPU never went above 55c and the voltage stayed around 12.23 to 13.1 on AMD performance plan set to high. I'm at a loss. If I put it to balanced then the numbers improve the temp is around 36 to 37c. The voltage was a little low that's why I bumped it up. I look at task manager the Microsoft game bar and the AMD app and CPU usage is around 4 or 5% and Ram is around 22%. Sometimes theres a temp jump of a couple degrees but that's normal for Ryzen from what I have read it's only two or three degrees. I set the fan to PWM because Windows was shutting it off during the reboot issue and that stopped that problem. It would go from the screen with the Bios options to the black screen and the fan would shut off as the Windows welcome screen came up then turn back on.
I also set the fan to high to make sure I wouldn't have a temp problem which seemed to work. I cant find anyone having an issue like these are the only two things I haven't tried, running it for a few hours in safe mode under a load or reinstalling Windows completely. The reason I haven't done a clean install is I cant find any problem with Windows. Sorry if I'm a little confusing I have been going at this for 13.5 hours and my brain is fried. Come on guys please help me out one up Tom's Hardware I asked them about nine hours ago and not one reply. Thank you in advance for any help oh and I even reseated all the hardware on the off chance that it was installed wrong and swapped it out with other parts. I basically rebuilt it at least five times today. Anyways as I was saying thank you in advance for any help. If you figure this out you are in league with Einstein.

Random shut down and restart??

Computer: Intel (R) Pentium (R) Dual cpu
E220@2.406hz
2.42 GHZ, 2.00 GB of RAM
Windows xp

Ever since I replaced the fan (with heat sink) the computer has randomly shut down and then restarted, at first during streaming, and now, will shut down and restart anytime. I tried to replace the graphics card to no avail. *Confused *Mad

One suggestion was to replace the RAM.

Any suggestions on how to repair my computer?

girlfriend calls, HELP my computer keeps restarting. lol
so the problem:

Her computer is constantly restarting when it gets to the WINDOWS XP loading screen and then shuts down.

it will get to start windows normally, start windows in safe mode.. blah blah blah, and she enters start windows normally, get passed this screen then gets to the WINDOWS XP loading screen ( guessing thats the BOOT SCREEN) and restarts.

please help

Computer restarts after logging into Windows XP

Just a few seconds after logging into Windows XP my computer restarts. I'm trying to figure out (in a general sense) what this problem could be. Something to do with video card drivers maybe?

Any thoughts would be helpful.
