Windows 10: Windows sleep option disappeared after disabling Ryzen 5900x CCD

Trying to establish if this is a mobo, CPU or Windows issue, so cross-posting to all forums in the hope someone else has seen this behaviourI have a WIndows 11 Pro 23H2 PC running an AMD 5900x CPU on a MSI MAG X570 Tomahawk MS-7C84 with BIOS 1.F0 AMD AGESA ComboAM4v2PI 1.2.0.B. I've been having FPS issues in games as a result of the latency between CCDs. When putting the CPU into single CCD mode and disabling SMT either via the BIOS or RyzenMaster sw, my Win11 'sleep' option in the shutdown menu goes missing. If I re-enable CCD/SMT, the option comes back!!!I dont know if this is a board, C

Sleep option

Hi John,

The issue might be due to a disabled sleep to show in Power menu
option in Control Panel.

We would like to ask for some information:

• Did you get any error messages?
• Can you provide us with a screenshot?

In the meantime, please check if the sleep to show in Power menu
option in Control Panel is enabled using the steps below:

• Type Control Panel on the search box and press Enter.
• Select System and Security, then Power Options.
• Click on Choose what the power buttons do.
• Put a check-mark on the Sleep-Show in Power menu box.

Computer Sleep Option Missing in Settings

The Settings Power and Sleep menu in Settings should list Screen and Sleep, where Sleep is used to tell when the PC goes to sleep. Sleep is missing, so my computer never sleeps. Fast startup and Hibernate are not enabled. I used Tutorial Add or Remove Sleep in Power menu in Windows 10 to change the registry while in administrative mode, but sleep still is not seen. HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\FlyoutMenuSettings now lists :1: It was 0 before the change.

I cannot get a large image, so will type Default REG_SZ (value not set) ShowHibernate REG_DWORD 0X00000000 (0) ShowLockOption REG_DWORD 0X00000000 (1) ShowLockOption REG_DWORD 0X00000000 (1) I used Option 3 to add sleep using the Group Policy Editor. The steps seemed to work fine, but sleep is still missing. I’m using a “new” refurbished Dell T3500 workstation with mbr running the current version of win10. I have a number of these computers, and the other all have the normal sleep mode . Any suggestions? Jim
