Windows 10: Windows slowing down

    Windows slowing down


    So my 2nd laptop had a hard disk failure (i5 2nd gen with 6gb ram). I wanted to confirm it so i used my other laptop's hard disk to check it (pentium b960 with 4gb ram). So when i booted i5 lap with pentium laps hard disk it said "getting the device ready" and it booted up... That conformd that. So when i was using the hard disk again with the pentium device the experience was very slow. Any fixes.

    could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
