    Windows sometimes lags/freezes when playing slightly more intensive games like baldur's gate


    I'm encountering an issue where my computer lags for maybe 3~ seconds when in a more intensive game. When it does this, my audio input device hyperx quadcast seems to disconnect from discord without playing the disconnect sound and discord doesn't detect any input audio until I go into the voice/video settings and re-select my microphone. This is a new computer with a fresh install of windows 11

    BSOD while playing Baldurs Gate 3

    Hello, I keep experience a variety of crashes when gaming on my new build, specifically Baldur's Gate 3 is very bad
    • Fresh installation of Windows on a brand new harddrive.
    • Graphics drivers reinstalled using DDU on safe mode
    • Chkdsk/scannnows etc all done and returned no errors
    Here is my dump file(s): https://1drv.ms/u/s!AqRJ6iNKBcyIi-Q_...vwA8w?e=Ppt8wb Update: it really is isolated to this game only, I've played 30 hours or so of other intensive games since making this post and not experienced one crash or BSOD so I guess I can safely assume it is a bug with this game/nvidia's optimized drivers. Either way if anyone has any experience with this issue with this game and can shed some light I would appreciate it!

    CTD means crash to desktop my full specs are on my profile i made sure to update them before i posted*Huh the psu is KRPW-BK650W/85+ KRPW is the maker (kurouto shikou) and 650W is the size i guess changing my resolution in-game from my native to one size down appears to fix the crashing which just makes no sense so i can only assume it is a bug within baldurs gate/an issue with nvidia's optimized drivers i tested out playing some other pretty albeit older but graphic intensive games like FFXV and they run beautifully on full graphics in my native resolution i will remove malwarebytes anyways
