Windows 10: Windows sometimes puts my laptop to sleep when battery is on high consumption

I am having an issue when playing some games that the pc goes to sleep without any notice.It then wakes up and continue running as normal.I can see this happens when I have apps more than one app running on Very High power Usage From having the task manager open.In comparison the CPU and memory never gets more than 40% usage.It doesnt happen that often but it is still annoying when it does.Is there a way to stop this from happening?Thanks in advance.

High Idle power consumption

Hi,

A laptop in idle still drains the battery. It can be one of the lists below are the reasons why your discharging faster.

• The power plan is on High-Performance. It consumes more energy because it maximizes the computer's usage. Toggle it as Balanced by going to Control Panel > System and Security > Power Options.

• Too many background applications running. We can check this by going to Windows Settings > System > Battery saver > Battery usage by app. You can set adjust the settings of your battery there as well. Also, please follow the tips on the window on how you
  can manage your battery.
• You use the second graphics card as your display to an external monitor.
• Using sleep mode instead of hibernate mode. Hibernate mode is advisable to use when stepping away from the device for very long.

In addition to this, you can run the automatic troubleshooter to
find and fix problems with your computer's power settings to conserve power and extend battery life.

High battery consumption of the Outlook App on my iPhone

Hello,

I have an iPhone 6 with the latest operating system iOS 10.3.1 on it.

Yesterday I installed the Outlook App.

I'm facing a very high battery consumption of the App.

Tried to uninstall and re-install but this didn't help.

For example: after charging my iPhone completely to a 100% battery power, I worked with the Outlook App for only 30 minutes and battery precentage dropped to 75% during this short time.

This doesn't happen with any other Apps such as facebook, whatsapp or the iPhone's email app. Only with the Outlook App.

What could be the reason for such a high battery consumption and what would be your advice?

Battery charging only when computer is put to Sleep. Windows 10

To understand the issue better, I would like to ask some questions:

• What is the make and model of your computer?
• From when are you facing this issue?

I suggest you to connect the computer with a different charger cable and check if the issue persists. I suggest you to run the Power troubleshooter by following the steps provided below:

• Type “Troubleshooting” in search box and press Enter.
• Click on “View all” on the top left pane.
• Select "Power" from the list and follow the prompts for troubleshooting.

Also, I would like to let you know that battery problems are often related to the battery itself. If you're experiencing this problem, contact your laptop manufacturer. If you purchased the battery separately, contact the battery manufacturer.

Also check for any utility release from your laptop manufacturer.
