    windows sonix 7.1 not working


    I have a ASUS PRO p1448u, and with the Conexant smart audio hd driver. I want to listen to sound surround music and have a homework base on sound surround but the windows sonic 7.1 is not working.

    The Sonix SN9C102 is the chip inside the webcam and Sonix -- the chip manufacturer -- does not supply webcam drivers.

    In addition, from what I've seen, although there were some drivers for webcams incorporating the Sonix SN9C102 chip, they were for XP and Vista and none of the reports I've seen suggest that they work on a Windows 7 system.

    If I were you, rather than wasting more time and energy trying to find driver and application support for this old camera, I'd buy a new USB-connected webcam. You should be able to find a decent one without having to spend too much:
