Windows 10: Windows sounds like a distant concert hall

To get started, I've not touched anything like a sound equalizer program and this suddenly happened. My hyperx cloud alpha headset has a weird distant sound like you are in a really large room where the sounds echo against the wall and on the other end of this hallway music is being played.


Does anyone know how to revert this to normal?

Audio Hall effect sound in Windows 10

Hi,

I have this weird issue that in some programs like firefox and chrome and skype the audio sounds like it is recorded in a hall. So not really echo effect but as if people are talking in a big church or something. Now the weird part is that it doesnt occur
when i use other programs such as microsoft edge or games.

Ex. watching youtube vid in firefox ->hall effect, watching youtube vid in microsoft edge -> no hall like effect

I have a suspicion that it has something to do with adobe flash player or something because that is what those programs have in common while microsoft edge uses it's own built in flash player.

I have updated my sound cards, uninstalled flash player and reinstalled it etc.

I hope someone can help me

 

Good surround sound headset

I know you say you're not that guy, but stepping into the $250+ range really brings a change in build quality that might have you never having to buy another set. Otherwise, getting 6 speakers with decent sound in a headset is hard, and that's what you are asking for, and I have no suggestions, but just a bump up the list. *Stick Out Tongue

 

Record videos with N95 in concerts = Sound distorted

If i record video in a concert of music with mi N95, the sound recorded is distorted, I think it is problem of low. Is it possible to resolve this for firmware?
