Windows 10: Windows space does not match with what my data is

Basic info!When I do Ctrl a and do properties it shows 86.5 gb used When I check in properties it shows that I have used 156 gbSize on disk is too 86 ghAll of this stuff was done prior and made no differenceFirstly, took admin rights even though I had them.2. Enabled hidden files, os files. Had extensions enable already and check boxes too but these things don't make any.sense extensions and the check boxes Detailed info.Using check disk, I ran chkdsk /f /r /perf /scan offline.Ran disk cleanup no files.Emptied recycled bin Nd even disabled it.Ran defragmentationAlso there was. Help! Data partition not showing under my computer

This is happening on a windows 2000 server. Our second partition of the system, for data is not showing under my computer. Here are the properties of it in disk management:





Now under logical drives its listed as F and shows free space available.

Suggestions on how to fix this?

 

Not enough space even though there is space

We will surely assist you with the issue. Refer the below steps.

Step 1:

I suggest you to change the file system to NTFS while formatting and then try copying the files and check.



Step 2:

• • Take the backup of the data, if you have any important data in it?
    
  • Let’s format the drive and check.
    
  • Go to this PC.
    
  • Right click on the external USB device.
    
  • Select Format.

Note: Formatting will delete all the data in the device, taking a backup of the data is recommended before performing a format.
