Windows 10: Windows Spotlight: Assets Random and Replacement roaming.lock

To keep it brief: Windows Spotlight wasn't alternating photos every few days like it should just re[eatedly showing the same one.So I manually reset Spotlight by cleaning out the assets Method 2 in this article. https://softwarekeep.com/help-center/windows-spotlight-lock-screen-not-working-heres-how-to-fix-it#h_629541192131680533959489 . Two questions. 1. The assets that repopulated the asset folder; there are a few that are different than what I had previously is it randomized? One photo is the new assets compared to the old assets in the recycle bin. Can I officially delete the old as

Spotlight on lock screen is not working while I see the Assets folder being populated

I have followed all procedures to get Spot light to work. I have tried these steps:

• The Powershell method discussed here:

• Emptying the Assets folder: C:\Users\alvin\AppData\Local\Packages\Microsoft.Windows.ContentDeliveryManager_cw5n1h2txyewy\LocalState\Assets

But still Spotlight on the lock screen is not working. After emptying the Assets folder and going into the lock screen settings, where I change from Picture to Spotlight, I do see the Assets folder being populated with new images.

BUT they are not showing when my screen is locked.

• Right-click on the desktop and open Personalize.
• Open Lock Screen tab.
• Under Background, switch from Windows Spotlight to a Picture or the Slideshow.
• Click OK and close the Window.
• Now Log off and log in.
• Navigate to Lock screen and enable Windows Spotlight again.
