Windows 10: Windows spotlight NOT WORKING!

Hi there,
i have win 10 Pro 64bit - last build - Ver. 1511 - 10586.3
For some reason Windows spotlight is not working for me - when i am in Settings -> Personalization ->
Lock Screen.

As shown in the Picture:






When i choose Windows spotlight - i see this light blue circle on the middle of the screen for 10 Sec





And then it goes to this same Background picture;





in the end - eventually Windows spotlight is not working - and yes i have same win 10 pro version at home installed- and over there Windows spotlight is working fine !

Can you post the exact problem with Spotlight?

I had some clue maybe but have to check it at home later on my comp

do you have Bing search as default browser or something else ? ( I have google search by default and it might be responsible of spotlight no showing ! )

 

no way , got stucked with the issue *Sad

 

ok , for those who got tuscked with spotlight feature not working though enabled in settings I used a workaround which works very well

Go to windows store and get the free app :
Amazing lock screen

it does the same from Bing and set a different lockscreen background when available
