Windows 10: Windows SSD goes on 100% while gaming

Specs:

Mainboard: ASRock B450 Pro4

CPU: Ryzen 5 2600

GPU: rx 590

16gb ram

2 SSD's (125gb and 240gb) and a 1tb HDD

(self build PC)

First of all sorry for the bad english, if anything isnt clear feel free to ask.

So my problem is, when i play games like Divinity 2, Monster Hunter World or Valorant my Windows SSD spikes on 100% and then my PC obviously starts to freez till i close the game (sometimes it goes back down when i tab out). But when i play League or LegendsOfRuneterra it doesn't happen. So i already tried to disable Superfetch/Prefetch, Windows Search, Windows Update and reseted my PC. Idk if a BIOS update will fix the problem but iam a bit afraid of doing this tbh. So what are your suggestions or guesses whats wrong with my pc.

btw i havent been able to do any windows updates for about a week ( i have the problem with the SSD for several month now) and i always get the same errorcode: (0x80073712)

edit: i forgot to mention that it worked fine again for like 2 Weeks after i didnt used it for a week.

Installing games with Windows Game Pass Missing SSD?

Ive just got the gamepass for windows and am trying to install games onto the SSD drive I use for games. The problem is my Games SSD isnt listed, my other 2 SSDs and a WD Black hard drive are in the list though.

The ssd works and is listed in disk management, but if I got into the windows settings and storage it isnt listed there either.

Can anyone tell em why this is or whats going on please?

 

100% Disk Usage on Secondary Steam Games SSD

I have the exact same problem with a WD Blue 3D NAND SSD 1TB I got recently. It always spikes to 100% usage as soon as you try to launch a game from it, sits unusable for about 5 minutes, then goes down to 0% and I'm good to go like nothing happened! Occasionally
it will work fine, but most of the time this happens and it is infuriating!

Every post I've seen with the 100% usage issue has to do with the boot drive, not a dedicated game drive. A friend told me it might be a faulty drive and I should just send it back, but I'll keep searching for a solution

 

SSD Crucial Bx 100 - rattling/vibrating. Possible?

This has been suggested several times already, and it has been suggested you try to move the SSD, remove it, or even suspend it in your case. Will you please try one of these?

If you don't understand vibration and resonance, please refer to @dorsetknob 's post above. *Smile It has been explained that something else moving/vibrating (even if you don't think they're vibrating they are...), fans, hard disk drives, and anything with a motor will cause some form of vibration at certain frequencies. This can be transfered through your case's chassis and where you mounted your SSD could be reaching a certain frequency that causes it to slightly move and rattle against the case.

We are suggesting you take action and report back..you keep asking questions from step 1...we should be on step 4 by now...that is solution.

Try what has been suggested and report back please. Otherwise all you're doing is leading this thread in an endless circle and the help will stop shortly thereafter.
