Windows 10: Windows stack update 10.0.19041.3989 on 1/10/2024 broke my cursor

On 1/10/24 Windows installed a stack update 10.0.19041.3989 to my PC which broke my mouse drivers; this was the ONLY change to my PC in months that could have possibly caused this. Since this event, my cursor is randomly intermittently left- and right-clicking in the bottom left-middle of the main display screen. This has caused settings to be changed, items to be deleted, programs to malfunction, and also inhibits any activity on the PC, especially videos/games.I have tried 3 different devices, and all 3 work just fine on other PCs but malfunction in the same way on mine; the mouse itself is

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

• Open a new Explorer window.
• Click View in the ribbon.
• Click Options.
• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
