Windows 10: Windows Start Menu couldn't be opened. I restarted PC. My Start Menu icon tiles are now gone.

As titled said. It will **NOT** be reset again if I put things on it, only my old icon tiles were gone. Can it be restored? What it looks like now: https://i.imgur.com/4QHcoJV.png Windows version: Windows 10 Pro 22H2 19045.2728 I'm not sure what other information I should provide I've tried: sfc/scannow, DISM commands, some powershell commands “ Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register “$$_.InstallLocation\AppXManifest.xml”} “. No luck so far.

Start menu default internet acces icon screwed?

You generally set that via the Start Menu settings (right-click start menu -> properties).

I had that issues a while ago, and it meant removing it from the Start Menu, and reinstalling my browser to get the icon back, it was very odd.

The only real usage issues with Windows 8/8.1 are the Start screen and Charms bar. Luckily they're doing away with the Charms bar and they've brought back the traditional Start menu, but with tiles.

I liked the tiles, but the fact that it needed a whole screen was not very productive unlike Windows 7.

@oil: That's what I did, but unfortunately it's different, it should be like "Internet" and should have the icon of FireFox.

So.. Remove the icon via Start menu properties, uninstall FF (again) and install?
