Windows 10: Windows Start Menu does not open, Login to user account is very slow and Microsoft Store...

Lately I'm having strange effects in one of my main user account in Windows 11.The effects are:1. Login to my user account takes very long to complete, about 5 minutes of black screen and only then it shows the desktop and actually starts the login phase of starting up all background processes.2. I cannot open the Start Menu or the taskbar Search Bar, I can right-click the Start Menu icon but left-clicking it / hitting the Win-key does nothing.3. When I'm running the MS Store app it shows in the library that I only have owned apps but they're not installed. Needless to say that these apps are

Custom Windows user account

I need to create a user account (Windows 7) and have it limited to one website. I also don't want the user to have access to anything else like the start menu and desktop. I want the user to login then be taken directly to a specific website automatically. How would I go about doing this? I've been reading a lot about consoles, but I'm not sure where to start. Thanks

I understand the inconvenience you are facing with log-in user account, we will help you to resolve this issue.

Kindly provide us with the following information to assist you better:

• How many user accounts are there on your computer?
• Is your computer connect to Domain?
• Were you able to see your another user account on start-up screen?

If you are able to see another user account on start-up screen, I suggest you to login through that account and enable the built-in admin account.

After enabling the built-in admin account you can login through that account and delete the default account.

Step 1: Steps to enable built-in admin account

Try to login to your temporary user account, enable built in administrator.

• • Press Windows + X key together on your desktop screen.
  • Click on Command Prompt (admin) to open Command Prompt.
    
  • Type the following command and hit Enter:

net user administrator /active: yes (Check for the spaces)

4. Now log off from the current user and try to login to the administrator account that is enabled.

Note: Please follow the same steps and type net user administrator /active: no to disable admin account after the troubleshooting is done.

Step 2: Steps to delete the account:

• 
  Login with the built-in administrator account.
  
• 
  Press “Windows key + X" from the keyboard and click on
  Search icon.
  
• 
  Type Control Panel in the search box, click on “User accounts” and on
  "Manage another account"
  
• 
  Click the on the default account you want to delete and Delete.

Update 1709 and missing built-ins from start menu

With that, I would suggest that you reset Windows Store Cache. To do do, follow the steps below:

• Close Windows Store app, if it's running.
• In the Start menu, type WSReset.
• Right-click on WSReset and then, click Run as administrator option.
• Click Yes button when you see the User Account Confirmation box.

If the issue still persists, try logging out of your Microsoft account and login after restart.
