Windows 10: windows start troubleshoot

Whenever I starts my PC the windows are all messed up; - middle click scrolling doesn't work, but middle click still works- media playback like in groove music or any other software will not play, it opens but won't play the sound or video- click dragging tabs in chrome doesn't work. but when I restart the PC everything is fixed, It's annoying to restart the PC after you turn it on.I have run the troubleshooter and reinstalled windows but It still hasn't solved the problem.

The tutorials provided are just a list of troubleshooting steps. Use only the steps which apply to you.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.

Start Bar not working after update install in Windows 10


Hi, tried as you suggest. It starts and says Checking application registration... and the green progress bar just goes on and on (let it run for over two hours) and never gets to the next step. Any other suggestions?

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
