Windows 10: Windows start up problems

I have Windows 10 and quite a number of months ago, I began having some problems with the system freezing up at different points during the start up, prior to where one enters the number code. For a long time I would need to reboot 3 times and the third reboot would boot properly. I set my machine not to turn off when plugged in to avoid this. Once I am in, I have no problems.When I would get the opportunity to choose START UP REPAIR, I can never use it as I don't know the password. Now in the last several days it is doing the same thing, but it can take me too many times to count to get

Windows 10 1709 System Restore problems...

That seems to be an attempt at Option 2 in the tutorial, which requires you to
a. Boot to a command prompt (Did you?)
b. You then seem to be mixing steps 3,4 and 5, thus your command is incorrect.

I suggest Option 1 is easier.

If you still have problems, please repost listing each specific step and saying which option from the tutorial you are using. Thanks.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx
