Windows 10: Windows started having a lot of very uncommon problems overnight, need help troubleshooting.

One day i woke up, turned on my PC, and noticed the following issues:1 I tried to open up Discord, my chatting application, but was instantly met with an error saying that it failed to execute. I then tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but the discord installer also instantly crashed. One day i woke up, turned on my PC, and noticed the following issues:

1) I tried to open up Discord, my chatting application, but was instantly met with an error saying that it failed to execute. I then tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it, but the discord installer also instantly crashed. It pointed me to a log file, which I screenshotted

2) I got 3 BSODs in one day.

3) One of the times I opened windows, right clicking files did not work, and the cursos just loaded forever. Only way to fix this was killing explorer from task manager.

4) rust-analyzer, the extension used for rust linting on Visual Studio Code, repeatedly crashed, making programming also impossible. This is an extension with 2.7 million downloads, and is what enables rust programming. It is not prone to crashing at all. I tried reinstalling it, but that did not fix anything.

I know these issues all sound unrelated, but keep in mind these all popped up in one day. They make my workflow pretty much impossible. The two things I do on my computer is talk on discord and do programming, and now I cannot do either.

What I have done to try to fix the issue:

1) restart multiple times. Sometimes, restarting even introduced new bugs, like youtube search bar not working. At all. even if i close and reopen the browser.

2) run sfc /scannow

3) run the DISM repair tool, which failed running due to the image version being different to the system version. I tried installing a brand new windows ISO and manually extracting the .esd and .wim files to use as sources, but that still failed

4) run windows update troubleshooter, and do all cumulative updates.

5) run the windows disk repair tool, which did say it fixed something, but solved none of my issues.

6) run all the problematic programs with admin permissions.

I have run out of ideas as to what I'm supposed to do. It is pretty much impossible for me to use my computer. My only guess is a C library being corrupted could be causing all of this, but I have no idea how that could have happened overnight. Any help would be appreciated.

• What are the troubleshooting steps you have tried to resolve the issue?

I suggest you to try the troubleshooting steps suggested from the Microsoft helps article like: Check for updates, Restart the computer, run the troubleshooter, create test user account and check if it helps.

Since none of the troubleshooting steps here worked, I'd suggest you do a Clean install.
