Windows 10: Windows starts with my Wifi network set as Public even though it is set to Private in Settings.

Every time I turn on my Win 11 Pro computer my home wifi network connection is set to public event though the setting in Settings still shows Private. This is what I see in Network & Internet.This is what I see in Settings for my network.If I click on Network in Explorer I get the following error.If I click to change and set the network to Private everything works but this is a very annoying waste of time. How can I fix this? Thanks.

Public or Private Home Wifi and Network Firewall settings?

I am a home user. I am confused as I read different descriptions of Public and Private and where they are used. What should my Home Wifi and Network Firewall be set as? Are the Wifi settings and Network Firewall settings two different Public and Private settings?

1. Windows Defender states PRIVATE is for "Networks at home..." I am connected the Public.

2. My Wifi setting is PUBLIC as it states to "use when connected to a network at home" I am connected the Public.

Wifi Network automatically set as public instead of private.

Hi, I'm having problems with my internet dropping out and I think it's because the wifi is set as public instead of private. I know there are already solutions to this out there, but those don't work as I don't have any way to set my network as private
in my network settings. So with that in mind, how would I go about setting my wifi network to private?

windows 10, network created as private to enable sharing of network devices, but the public network takes over when rebooting, how to make the private settings stay primary? aslo the subnet pickups up the wifi factory address as 192.168.7.1 and locks
to 255.255.255.0 no matter how often address is assigned manually for home group.
