Windows 10: Windows still booting in Legacy BIOS mode instead of UEFI even when the disk is GPT

So I decided to convert my main SSD to GPT mode as I wanted to use UEFI booting, and I did that with EaseUS partition master. Problem is, the disk is converted to GPT, but Windows still boots in Legacy mode. The reason why I can still boot Windows is because I'm using CSM. My Windows version is 22H2.Any help would be appreciated.

Bitlocker with Windows 10 and EFI/UEFI Bios and Legacy Bios + MBR or GPT disk

I've read alot online about all of the scenarios for bitlocker and using Windows 10 with TPM 2.0. I've read things that said bitlocker encryption is not possible if it's a Win 10 box with TPM 2.0 bios in Legacy mode. It must be UEFI/EFI to work. Is this
correct? Also in addition to this, I also read that you want UEFI + GPT formatted disk. Will encryption with bitlocker still work if you have say ... Win 10 UEFI + MBR formatted disk???? Or do have to have both UEFI + GPT disk format for bitlocker drive encryption??

I am hoping to clear this up.

UEFI vs Legacy boot mode

Switching to UEFI bios on GPU does not enable UEFI mode if motherboard is set CSM = On. Setting CSM = Off in my experience causes Windows 7 issues, even if installed as UEFI mode with GPT partition on storage device.

 

Failing to install Windows 10 in UEFI boot mode

I’ve been reading articles in this community and others the last couple of days and I’m getting more and more confused.

I have made my first build with the following equipment:

Asus Prime Z370-P (Bios version 1002x64, firmware 11.8.50.3470)

Intel Core i5 8400 2,8GHz

Samsung 860 EVO Series MZ-76E250B 250GB

and other..

I purchased a Windows 10 Home Eng Retail licence on USB directly from Microsoft.

When installing Win 10 it always ends up being installed in Legacy BIOS mode.

First time, I only followed the instructions on screed and had a successful installation, but in Legacy Bios mode.

The second time I made the following change the UEFI:

Boot\Secure boot\OS type = Windows UEFI mode

Installation was still being made in Legacy Bios mode.

Third time

Boot\Secure boot\OS type = Windows UEFI mode

When Win 10 installation started I entered the cmd prompt and made the following commands in order to change to gpt

Diskpart

List disk

Select disk 0

convert gpt

Exit

I then continued with Windows installation which still ended up in Legacy Bios mode.

I’m getting crazy and I don’t know what I’m going to do : (

What do I need to change in the UEFI?

What do I need to do to prepare the disk for UEFI mode?

Is my purchased Windows 10 USB key prepared for UEFI mode?

Can someone describe, step by step what I need to do?
