    Windows still thinks that I live at my old address.


    Hello,I moved to another province Here in Canada two years ago, and I bought a new laptop. However, I didn't change my address Until today because I haven't been using it that much on the Microsoft website.I am trying to book an appointment for my mother and this site wants to know my location. I clicked yes, and it still recognizes my old address. How do I change this?

    Here is the step to remove that old email address.

    Start typing an email address into the “To” field. As soon as you see the old email address being recommended as one of the potential candidates, use the down arrow key to scroll through the list of suggestions. Once you highlight the old email address, type the delete key. In many cases, this will actually remove the entry not only from the current list of suggestions but from future suggestions as well. You may even find that as you mouse over the drop-down list the highlighted item will have an “x” to explicitly allow you to delete it.

    Just do this step and your good to go.

    I'm afraid that Windows Live Mail doesn't have the same sort of addressee suggestions that some other programs like Office Outlook have. When addressing a message in Windows Live Mail, the only 'suggestions' that appear are entries in the contacts list that
    match the string typed in the address box. Outlook also maintains a list of 'people you have sent mail to in the past who may or may not be in your contacts list,' its
    AutoComplete list. Windows Live Mail doesn't do that.

    I'm sorry, but it's not quite clear to me what your customer is expecting.
