Windows 10: Windows stock on selective startup and it does not switch to normal at all

I have tried to reset all advanced troubleshooter for the startup to no avail. All settings revert to selective settings right after changing to Normal startup under MSConfig.

Many of my apps are failing and erroring out, as well.

Did you follow the below steps to enable the Normal startup?

• Press Windows + R keys from the Keyboard.
• Type msconfig and hit Enter.
• Click on the General tab.
• Select the Normal startup option.
• Click on Apply and Ok.
• Restart the system and check.

If yes, you may follow the below steps to check if the computer boots to selective startup:

• Press Windows + R keys from the Keyboard.
• Type msconfig and hit Enter.
• Select the General tab.
• Select the Selective startup option, check the box for load startup services, load startup items, use original boot configuration will be enabled.
• Restart the computer.

If it boots successfully to selective startup then you can boot to normal startup from selective startup.

Recovery to normal startup from diagnostic startup in windows 10

can't find run command to select normal startup

• Is your device currently in Safe mode?
• Are you referring to boot the computer in Normal startup?
• What exactly happens when you try to access Taskbar?

If you are not able to see the Taskbar, try the below steps to enable Taskbar:

1. Right click in the empty space on the
Taskbar, click on Properties,

2. Under
Taskbar tab, check mark the Auto-hide the Taskbar option, click on
Apply and Ok.

If you are referring to boot the computer in Normal mode from Safe mode, follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Press Windows + R keys to open
  Run command.
• Type msconfig and press
  Enter.
• In the System Configuration window, click on
  General tab.
• Select Start-up selection as
  Normal startup, click on Apply
  and Ok.
• Follow onscreen instructions.
