    Hi,


    This happens to me twice today.


    While I'm using my Windows 10, suddenly mouse cursor disappears and after that, I can not use mouse and keyboard to interact with Windows anymore.

    I tried unplugging the USB and put it back in again, still not working.

    The only option I have is to restart the machine with the power button.


    I want to know, is there any way to prevent this or to connect to my machine so I can save my work before restarting the machine.

    Thanks, but how would I be able to do any of the things that you suggest when Windows is not recognizing either my keyboard or my mouse?

    I'll mention that I do intend to purchase a *wired* USB keyboard and mouse today and try them, but I'm not optimistic that they will be recognized by Windows either.
