    Windows stopped responding to the controller.


    I dont know what the hell happened.i conncted the controller to the computer with a usb cable.the Home button is ligthened up so i know the controller was recognized by the PC.but when i press on buttons nothing happens.i know the controller is working becuse i was testing after words with my xbox.I am using WIndows 10 home edition with an xbox series X controller.any idea what gone wrong and how to make it work?

    try the card in another machine is all i can suggest now. If it works in that one but not urs then obviously the card is not compatible with your motherboard. Last resort is to tell Asus to go suck on donkey balls and get a different make of board

    Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
