Windows 10: Windows Storage Spaces maintenance

Should disk optimization be done through windows storage spaceswhen storage spaces is up and running or the default windows defrag/optimization program or both, as routine maintanance?

We suggest that you run the System Maintenance troubleshooter by following these steps:

• Press Windows and X key together.
• Select Control Panel.
• Click on Troubleshooting.
• Click View all on the left side panel.
• Click on the System Maintenance and follow the steps on the on-screen instructions.

Windows Manage Storage Spaces

Dear Windows Team,

Are there any list of drives which are supported to use manage storage spaces.

As I have 10x 5TB WD My Passport Drive all drives shows error while creating for pool like the listed drive doesn't support the pool option.

Then which drives should I use?

Any suggestions!!!
