Windows 10: Windows Store error code 0x80070002

I am trying to reinstall Microsoft Solitaire Collection, which worked yesterday, but wouldn't open in the evening. I get error code 0x80070002 when trying to install the software again. How can this be fixed? There were no updates on my computer between the successful previous launch and the delete/reinstall of the software.

Error 0x80070002 when trying to update Windows

I have been having issues for months with Windows 10 updates failing due to Error 0x80070002 on my gaming laptop. The full message reads:

2019-06 Cumulative Update for Windows 10 Version 1803 for x64-based Systems (KB4503286) -Error 0x80070002.

I am currently on version 1803 (OS Build 17134.590) and I'm being told "You're currently running a version of windows that's nearing the end of support. We recommend you update to the most recent version of Windows 10 now to get the latest features and security improvements."

I have followed the instructions on Error Code 0x80070002 Fixed – Eassos Step-by-Step Tutorial but this hasn't resolved the problem. Does anybody know how to fix this?

That program simply disables startups. Nothing to do with the way the Store functions.

you will find many results- including in tenforums.
