Windows 10: Windows Store Games and Language

Hello, I'm from Poland, but I alwys play English version of the games, cause dub in my country is most often a lot worse than original/english. I just downloaded Sunset Overdrive on PC and its in Polish. How can I change the games language to english?


I read something about region change in time and language options, but wouldn't I lose acces to my games when I buyed them in "polish settings"?

Windows 8.1 update changed the language, can't change back

Maybe, these will help... it seems it is a common enough problem.

Language packs are no longer available after you upgrade to Windows 8.1

Change your Windows display language
To change your Windows display language (that's the language you see most often in Windows and apps), first add a language, download and install the language pack, and then follow these steps.

• Tap or click Set as primary to move the language to the top of the list. If the language can become your Windows display language, you'll see Will be display language after next sign-in appear under the language.

How to Change Windows store and apps language to English

As per the issue description you are willing to change the language back to English which get changed after installing November update in China.

• Is the issue specific to some apps or with all apps?
• Is the language of the OS and keyboard in English?

Using games from the microsoft store

Based on the results you've obtained, this can be an issue with the Windows Store which affects the digital games you’ve downloaded from it. We suggest manually resetting the Windows Store cache. Here are the steps:

• Press the Windows + R keys to open the Run dialog box.
• Type WSReset.exe and click OK.
• The Store and a command prompt will now open with any message. The command prompt will automatically close after the Store's cache has been reset.

Once done with the reset, kindly click this
link and follow the steps on how to check for updates for apps and games from Windows Store. Search if there are any updates available for the affected game.
