Windows 10: Windows Store has Stopped Working after Installing and Using Zoom

Issue:I cannot download any apps from the Windows Store. The Store will open fine, I can search for apps, but it gets stuck on "starting download" and will sit there when trying to install anything. If I click the stop button, nothing happens. If I click "cancel download," nothing happens. The app will not respond and will not download/install any apps. I've tried this with the Xbox App and Netflix and experienced the same result.Further, I also tried installing the Xbox app from the downloadable exe, which gets stuck about 20% of the way through. So I cannot install anything through the store

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

Issue:

I cannot download any apps from the Windows Store. The Store will open fine, I can search for apps, but it gets stuck on "starting download" and will sit there when trying to install anything. I've tried this with the Xbox App and Netflix and experienced the same result.

Further, I also tried installing the Xbox app from the downloadable exe, which gets stuck about 20% of the way through. So I cannot install anything through the store or any apps outside the store if they're associated with it.

Note: I can still download and install anything unrelated to the MS Store just fine.

Context:

I have PC Game Pass and the Xbox app installed on my Windows 10 PC. Everything was working fine until I installed Zoom and joined a call. After the call, I returned to the Xbox App, and it no longer detected any of my installed games and kept crashing. After restarting and troubleshooting to no avail, I uninstalled the Xbox App and then tried to install it again but, as mentioned, it keeps getting stuck about 20% of the way through. I then tried installing it from the MS Store, and that, too, got stuck. Everything worked just hours before the Zoom call, and nothing else was changed between that time.

I've tried just about everything possible, AFAIK:

• I've confirmed that I've signed into the right account both on the store app and my PC.
  
• Updated payment information.
  
• Checked for the latest Windows updates and installed them.
  
• troubleshooting - additional troubleshooters - run troubleshooters on windows store app
  
• Reset and repair on store app
  
• Sign-out and in.
  
• Removed microsoft store cache with wsreset.exe and restarted PC.
  
• Confirmed drivers are up to date.
  
• Confirmed I'm using my wired connection and not WiFi.
  
• Ran Windows Defender and removed: "PUABundler:Win32/CandyOpen"
  
• Ran Malwarebytes and Malwarebytes adwcleaner. Quarantined a few low-risk issues.
  
• Ran Windows maintenance.
  
• Ran disc clean on C drive.
  
• Removed unnecessary apps and processes from Start.
  
• DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth
  
• sfc /scannow (corruptions fixed. Ran again, no issues found)
  
• Re-register Windows Store App. PowerShell: Get-AppXPackage *WindowsStore* -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}
  
• Unfortunately, I only have one restore point and it's from today. I would need a restore point from 5/16 which I don't have.
  
• Scanned C drive with Samsung Magician, no issues.
  
• Confirmed MS Store is not blocked by the firewall.
  
• Deleted everything from C:Windows/SoftwareDistribution/DataStore and C:Windows/SoftwareDistribution/Download
  
• Probably other stuff I'm forgetting.
  

Question:

Is it possible Zoom ruined something? I want to emphasize that everything worked fine just hours before installing and using Zoom. Nothing else was changed between that time.

Is there anything else I can try without losing any of my data?

Maybe Related:

Within Samsung Magician, I get the error: "Magician can't verify the SSD. Please check network connection"

However, I'm still able to run the scan without issue.

However, please let us know:

  Is the issue specific to the Zoom app?
  
• 
  Are you aware of any changes made to the computer prior to this issue?
  
• 
  Which build version of Windows 10 is installed on the computer? Refer
  Which version of Windows operating
  system am I running?
  

I would suggest you to refer the troubleshooting steps mentioned in the Zoom article

Testing computer or device audio and see if that helps.



However, I would also suggest you to get in touch with the
Zoom support team for further assistance with the issue.
