Windows 10: Windows store is incorrectly trying to install a game Halo: The Master Chief Collection

I am trying to install Halo via the Windows Store without having to do a clean install of windows on my computer. When I visit the page to install TMCC The Master Chief Collection, the install button is visible but when I click on it then it begins to just download without any prompts asking where I would like to install it. Any other game asks what drive I want to install it to, as I have windows on my SSD C: and a 2TB HDD D: for games. All of my settings are configured to install games and apps under drive D. I have other games installed that were recently installed that gave me no issues.

The error I first ran into was 0x80073D12 Install the app or game. I've tried every method mentioned on this site, youtube, and that I could find on google. I've done "wsreset" countless times, reset windows store through settings, I actually did a complete reinstall of windows using an ISO but chose to keep all my files and apps as my whole goal is to install this game without wiping everything, I took permissions of the "windowsapps" folder and deleted any folders/files pertaining to TMCC such as MSICVC. I've deleted windows update cache, checked that all the proper services were running, and reinstalled game services.

The game does not appear in "My Library" or anywhere else. It does not show up as installed, and trying to uninstall TMCC is useless because it's nowhere on my computer to be found. Which is why I tried to dig deep and delete anything pertaining to the game, such as the MSICVC folder.

So the only thing that works as a variant surprisingly was the "Check if its an expansion." Normally when I install the game it just goes ahead and tries to install every game on there and gives me the error 0x80073D12. If I click on retry, it will continue to give me that error for every game that comes installed with it i.e. Halo 4, Combat Evolved, Halo 3, etc. However, when I retry to install TMCC app itself, I get the error 0x80070070 Free up disk space. My C drive has 100GB free and I can't free up any more than that. There is only roughly 200GB on it and I have many apps and files I'm trying to keep/save on it.

Is there something that is binding this game to my C drive and forcing it to install every game with it? On the store page, it says TMCC is only about 60MB which is just for the app itself I'm assuming, but if its trying to install every game with it then that's well over 200GB worth of data. I have no issues with any other apps or games. Just this one in particular.

Is there a way to work around this and force it to give me the option to install to my D drive without formatting my SSD and installing a clean copy of windows?

Halo Master Chief Collection Games Won't Download

Hello there! I recently bought the Halo Reach game from the windows store and downloaded it as part of the master chief collection, however when I went back and purchased the full Master chief collection with the rest of the games the new games won't show
up when I open the master chief collection. I've uninstalled and redownloaded the game multiple times but nothing seems to work, does anyone have any answers?
