    following Windows Store app missing after factory reset - Microsoft Community...I was giving an HP Pavillion laptop recently, never used and bought from new... It was running Windows Home 10 but I bought an upgrade to 10Pro, but the Store App has never shown and still is not showing anywhere on the laptop... And I can't download it from online store, or any appx packages...I have followed ALL advise and instructions at the thread above, plus more before yesterdays factory reset, but still no Store. I am logged in as admin.Microsoft.WindowsStore_8wekyb3d8bbwe does not exist on this computer.Ple

    Which is good news actually, because Windows 8.1 is loads cheaper than previous versions (retail licensing at Windows 7 OEM prices). And it sort of puts a huge hole in the Windows subscription theory.
