Windows 10: Windows Store not functioning correctly

For some reason, my Windows Store is not functioning correctly. At first, when I was attempting to reinstall the Xbox app after accidentally uninstalling it, the install button just did not work. So, I attempted some of the fixes found here I'll list them below and now the Windows Store is extremely slow whenever I click on an app's store page and still will not let me download anything. Additionally, when I go to the Xbox app's store page and hover over the install button my cursor turns into a circle with a line through it.


The only recent change has been the installation of a new secondary HDD, I did have a system crash while attempting to move some MS Store games which messed them up and forced me to uninstall them as well.


I have tried:

Running wsreset.exe It just hangs on the black screen, I know it's supposed to do that for a while but it never completes.

Re-registering all store apps through Powershell

Re-installing the MS Store through Powershell

Running Troubleshooter

Logging into a different MS account in Store


I'm struggling to think of anything else I can do.

To understand the issue better, I would like to ask some questions:

• Are you connected to a Domain network?
• Did you make any changes prior to this issue?
• Are you using a Microsoft Account or a Local Account?
• Are you able to access computer settings without any error?

I suggest you to run the Windows Store Apps troubleshooter by following the steps provided below:

• Type “Troubleshooting” in the search box and press Enter.
• Click on ‘View All’ on the top left pane.
• Click on “Windows Store Apps” from the list and follow the on-screen prompts for troubleshooting.

I suggest you to follow the below methods and check if it helps:

Step 1:

I suggest you to clear Windows Store cache and check if it helps.

Follow the steps below:

• Press Windows logo key + R.
• Type wsreset.exe on Run window and press enter.
• Check if issue persists.

You may try the following steps and check:

Step 2:

Try to run the sfc scan and check if the Windows store downloads faster:

Run a System File Checker (SFC) scan to check for any file corruption.
SFC scan will scan for corrupt system files on the computer and repair them.

• Press Windows key + X, click
  Command Prompt (Admin).
• In the Command Prompt, type the following command, and then press ENTER:
  
  sfc /scannow

Hi dalchina. Good news, I followed your suggestion and reinstalled the update and now it appears as "installed correctly" *Biggrin Maybe it was not necessary to run the Windows Update Troubleshooter or maybe if necessary. But using it I do not think it could have worsened something. The installation was very fast, unlike the first time it showed step 1 and step 2 completed.
