Windows 10: windows store "something happened on our end"

ive been trying to update some apps in the microsoft store but every time they start downloading, it stops the download and says "something happened on our end" i click retry and the same thing pops up. no error code or anything like that. ive tried repairing it in settings. ive tried running it through the troubleshooter in settings. ive tried signing out and signing back in. tried using a different account. tried clearing the cache. tried a couple different things in the command prompt that i found online and it still is not working. im on windows 11. i dont know what else i could possibly d

I am also seeing the issue of

• Uninstall the Weather and Surf Australia app first.
• Soft reset your phone by pressing and holding the Volume down +
  Power keys until it vibrates.
• After your phone restarts download the mentioned app again.
