    Windows Store/Windows Update Error Code 0x80080005


    For some reason when trying to install a game on Microsoft Store, it will be stuck on 'Starting Download' for a while until it gives me the error.I have tried the other troubleshoots for this problem, but none have seemed to have worked. I'm not sure why this is occurring, however for some reason my windows doesn't allow me to update and gives me the same error code '0x80080005'. I have had a look at other troubleshoots for this problem and tried some solutions however none have worked either.

    suggests the error number may occur where one of the OTHER drives has a problem.

    Your specs don't say whether you have other drives installed.

    Anyway, worth using Hard Disk Sentinel (trial) - the best text summary of such programs I've seen- to check your disks. Failing that check SMART params and do a surface scan with something else.

    Sorry? Have you got the correct Tweaking .com's repair tool? Or followed the steps to the end where you actually do the numbered repairs?
