Windows 10: Windows stuck in temporary profile. Cannot recover.

So, i recently downloaded a graphics driver for my laptop and installed it.. i dont know if the problem is because of that as i used the laptop for so much work but i suspect it was the problem.. So basically, my windows 11 is stuck in temporary profile.. Whenever i try to login in my own user account.. it says preparing windows and login in a temporary account where all my files and folders are gone.. I tried fixing it through registry edit but it didnt work.. i tried restarting the computer multiple times but it didnt work.. Please help me get out of this asap. Thank you.

Recover deleted Temporary profile.

Hey.

I need help if someone is willing to help me. Yesterday my laptop opened up a temporary profile. And because I dont know alot about tech, I mistakenly moved my work into a temporary profile because I just thought I had a system reset. Today, it has gone back to its usual profile but my documents are deleted and I cant seem to recover them.

Does anyone know of a way to recover data from a deleted temporary profile? Thank you

As per the issue description you are facing issue in editing some settings from a temporary profile. You need to login to your original (Administrator) profile to change those settings.

I would suggest you to change the account type to administrator, if it is not and see if it helps. Try the steps provided below to change the account type.

• Login with the temporary profile.
• Press Windows key + X.
• Select Control Panel from the list.
• Select Large icons from the view by drop down menu.
• Click on User Accounts.
• Click on Change Account type.
• Select Administrator radio button and click OK.

Try to login into my profile but am redirected to temporary profile.

In simple terms and step by step how to have my profile not be redirected to a temporary profile. Answers I have seen are too technical. Cannot figure out where to start on my computer to create a new user account as posts suggest. This started the
day I updated to Windows 10.
