    Windows Suddenly running slow


    Hi guys, i have some problem on the Performance of Windows my problem is windows sometimes suddenly running slow on opening apps such as preinstalled apps or .exe file can anyone suggest a solution Please do not suggest `chkdsk` or `sfc` it doesn't work after running those command Thanks !

    windows 10 running slow

    Hi,

    Welcome to Microsoft community.

    I would suggest you to run System maintenance troubleshooter.

    Try the followings steps:




    • Click "Search" and type "Troubleshooting" without quotes and hit enter.

    • Select "System maintenance"

    • Click next to run the troubleshooter.

    Windows Suddenly running slow

    Windows Update suddenly hangs?

    Windows Update is suddenly hanging for some reason... I went and downloaded and installed the first bunch of updates, restarted when asked, and now when I go back to windows update I just get the window with a white box forever. Reboot and it still does it. This happens to be on my main machine, running windows 7.

    I've also noticed when I reboot it says configuring windows update, step 3 of 3, 47%. Maybe it somehow skipped something and is screwed forever?
