Windows 10: Windows suddenly started only showing filesizes in KB, inestead of MB or GB, etc as it did...

Discus and support Windows suddenly started only showing filesizes in KB, inestead of MB or GB, etc as it did... in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; I swear to god this didn't happen until literally today.     Windows suddenly started only showing filesizes in KB, inestead of MB or GB, etc as it did...


    I swear to god this didn't happen until literally today. When in the File Explorer seeing files in the Details view size, it shows the filesizes in KB.

    This didn't happen before and I have no clue what caused this. I haven't installed any programs in a week or so.

    How to display file sizes in MB/GB/TB etc instead of only KB in Windows Explorer?

    In a file listing in Windows Explorer, I see the file sizes in KB.

    How do I have those file sizes simplified and shown in more convenient units like MB, GB etc?

    Or, KiB, MiB, GiB

    How To display Size in MB or GB instead of KB in the File Explorer?

    Are there any plans to change this in future releases? It seems like it wouldn't be that difficult to write code that makes the file size display in the format that makes the most sense. E.g. Anything over 1023 KB shows as 1 MB, anything over 1023 MB shows
    as 1 GB, etc... Other operating systems already do this. My iphone does this. It's such a simple thing that makes a surprisingly significant difference in understandability.

    Win Explorer is displaying the file size incorrectly, KB where is MB


    New Laptop w/Win 10 displayed the file size correctly until this morning.

    This morning, they all are KB.

    It USES KB instead MB. I know they are MB size.

    Example, right window where the files are listed under the SIZE col, all are 00,000 KB.
    I know they are large so I went to PROPERTY lists correctly, 00,000 MB.

    ANYONE?
