Windows 10: Windows Sync Settings

I have 5 windows 10 20H2 computers logged into my Microsoft account.

I have all the sync settings turned on on all of them and it works but occasionally.


Most common issue:

• Individual sync settings, the "theme" option which include wallpaper, mouse cursor, colors on tabs... Two days ago I changed the wallpaper, the mouse cursor and the color from the dark to the white scheme in one of the computers. All the others are as "synced theme" while just that one is using a "custom theme" due to the modifications I've made.
• So far this computer has not updated his modifications because after 2 days it's the only one different.... I`ve tried setting sync off restarting then sync on, end the host sync service then restarting, sfc checknow by the way it's a brand new computer, less than a week usage
• when it happens, sometimes, occasionally, after days, weeks or even longer, but one day, "out of the blue" the magic happens and it updates to the others computers I have... But why wait for weeks knowing it might happen as well it will not update? just once it happened the same day in my case...I think it's missing an option "Sync now", "Please update the changes I`ve made here to the OneDrive file and please update the new wallpaper to the Synced folder so the others can make the same alterations!!!!

I notice the same behavior even with new computers I have bought or after I full restarted an "old" computer thinking it was some issue from "my side" it seems it isn't...


I also suspect the Windows Credentials and Web Credentials have "different versions" syncing, It If I log a new computer to my account it might get the xyz web credentials or the xyzt web credentials version.


Before the Edge has turned to chromium base smart decision I had the same issue with my passwords... After this change it works AWESOME! I have exactly the same settings and passwords and cards and addresses in all devices, instantaneous if I change something...


Around two years ago by the time I bought my surface Go I`ve been with the online Microsoft support team for more than one time... They have erased my personal account, made a new a one, full reset pc, soft reset PC, checked DNS, all you can think... the same things and years ago... the only thing corrected was the issues the EDGE corrected after changing to chromium core...


I like Microsoft very much!!! Windows is the most adaptable OS ever!!! It runs on almost any machine, It let me have a lot of power on the system, it's not a "closed os" like the apple one or the systems which won't let you even install apps from outside their store... A LOT of pros to Microsoft, but... sometimes its annoying how long they take to correct an issue they know about... Like this one... They know about the wallpaper sync issue... they know how long it takes, they know it works sometimes but occasionally....

Stop Windows 10 syncing keyboard settings

I suggest you to Turn off the Language preference and Ease of access Sync settings and check if it helps. You may follow the steps below and check if it helps:

• Press Windows key and then type Sync your settings.
• Turn off language preference and ease of access.

Email will not sync in Windows 10

I suggest you to follow the below steps to change the Mailbox sync settings.

  Open the Mail app and sign in to your account.
  
• 
  Click on the gear icon (Settings) from the bottom left corner.
  
• 
  Click on the Accounts under
  Settings.
  
• 
  Click on your account.
  
• 
  Click on the Change mailbox sync settings and check in the
  Sync options.

Sync My Settings Not Syncing

I had a problem previously related to my sync setting being greyed out. Now i have my 2 pcs logged in with a online Microsoft account, all the sync settings are turned on with both pc's. Still it does not seem to be syncing. Any suggestions guys?
