    hey...

    page did not found on the said two links you have given me, but i did download filemon in

    http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/utilities/filemon.mspx.     and regmon in

    http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/utilities/regmon.mspx.     i hope its the same file.

    i did what you have said but when im in the TASK MANAGER (on step 6) and in Processes window, i can't find either ServiceLayer.exe or Service~1.exe. All i can find is service.exe there but i can't make it to end process.

    Yes Nirsoft has a lot of excellent utilities. Another good source for free utilities is SysInternals (which is Microsoft owned).
