  2. System 32 files/ programs runs for a while and disappears on Windows 10

    Provide us additional information to assist you better with this issue:

    • What is the complete error message/ error code of this issue?
    • Have you made any changes to the operating system prior to this issue?
    • When exactly does this issue persists?

    I suggest you to try the below troubleshooting steps and check if it helps.

    Step 1: I suggest you to sign-out from the current user account, restart the computer, resign-in and check with the status of this issue.

    Step 2: I suggest you to run SFC scan and check if it helps.

    System File Checker is a utility in Windows that allows users to scan for corruptions in Windows system files and restore corrupted files. If a
    Windows Resource Protection (WRP) file is missing or is corrupted, Windows may not behave as expected.

    Follow the below steps:

    • Right click on the Start button, click on
      Command Prompt (Admin).
    • Type “sfc /scannow” without the quotes and hit
      Enter.
    • After the scan, restart the computer and check for the issue.

    Step 3: Also, I suggest you to install all the pending updates on Windows 10.

    • Connect to the internet.
    • Press Windows key and type
      updates
      .
    • Click on Check for updates.
    • Under Windows Updates, click on
      Check for updates.
    • Try to install the updates being shown.

  3. RunDLL System 32 error

    Hey Patricia,

    I suggest you to perform DISM scan and check if the issue is resolved. It detects incorrect manifests, cabinets or registry data, it may replace the incorrect data with corrected version available.


    • Open command prompt by pressing Windows key + X and selecting “Command prompt admin”.

    • In command prompt, type the following commands and press Enter after each command:
      • DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Scanhealth
      • DISM.exe /Online /Cleanup-image /Restorehealth

    • Close the command prompt and restart the PC and check if it works.
    I suggest you to run System Maintenance troubleshooter for slow computer and check if it helps.

    Run the System Maintenance troubleshooter.


    • Type ‘Troubleshooting’ and select ‘Troubleshooting’.

    • On the left pane click "View all" and then click "System Maintenance" and run the troubleshooter.

    • Once the troubleshooter is run, restart the computer and check the performance status.
    Also perform disk cleanup and check: Press Windows key + R,
    run box
    will pop up, type cleanmgr and disk cleanup Windows will come, scan the selected partition and calculate how much space you can free up.

    List the EXACT "blah, blah" you mention, here please... for ALL installation cases!

    (Sound like a possible "DLL-Hell" issue, but "Windows File Protection" &/or "System File Protection" should have countered for this... no biggie, there's ways around that too!)
