Windows 10: Windows system issues

Hoping someone here can help me out. A few months ago I started having issues with my PC slowing down and file explorer taking forever to load my thumbnails esp in larger folders. I own a business and we have lots of design files so some of these files may have anywhere from 20-300 images in each. I tried to update windows and it failed. Tried sfc/scannow and it failed Tried to run some other commands and do sfc/scannow again and it still failed. I disabled my Norton and tried updating again, still failed and still won’t scan for errors. I swapped out my ddr4 sticks thinking that might solve t

That's what the auto setting will do since you're over the 1333 mark it jumps to the next step which isn't listed or officially supported I assume by that ram.

At this point though I would suggest dropping the multi one step or .5 so that we can get something stable and possibly take the heat issue out of the picture for now.

 

windows xp installation and dual core am

could someone please list the steps they follow to install windows with a dual core processor and windows xp service pack to. I'm reletively new to amd dual core and i feel i'm missing a step. All help will be appreciated. thanx

The Runtime Broker is responsible for checking if a Metro app is declaring all of its permissions (like accessing your photos, mails,…etc.) and informing the user whether or not it’s being allowed.



Method 1: I suggest you to run
System Maintenance troubleshooter and check if the issue persist.



System Maintenance troubleshooter will find and clean up unused files and shortcuts present on the system, and perform maintenance tasks which will enhance the performance of the PC.

• 
  Press Windows logo key on the keyboard, type
  Troubleshooting and select the top most search result.
  
• 
  Select View all from the left side panel of the window.
  
• 
  Select System Maintenance from the listed options, click on
  Advanced option and check Apply repairs automatically
  option.
  
• 
  Follow the on screen instructions.
  

Method 2: I suggest you to perform clean boot by following the steps from link below and check if the issue is resolved.



Putting your system in Clean Boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue.



You can open the system configuration window in Windows 10:



a. Using run command.

• 
  Press Windows Key + R keys on the Keyboard.
  
• 
  Type msconfig.msc and press
  Enter.
  

b. Using Cortana.

• 
  Press Windows icon key on the keyboard and type
  msconfig.
  
• 
  Select the top most search result.
