Windows 10: windows system sudden restart+screen freezing and system unresponsive when playing games.

i got so far 3 issues resulting to restart of the system to be able to work again:1-first one happened when playing a game, the game froze then later on i got blue screen of deathi ran Asus diagnostic tool and nothing showed out of ordinary2-second time when i was playing a game the game froze for a few seconds then the system auto restarted without a report!:i searched many solutions, some suggested me to check the rams and others to check the disks via CMD, the CMD way showed some curropted files that got fixed and that is what i have done, also got the see reliability info and events view

Let's try the below steps and check if it helps to resolve the issue.

Try Updating the graphics driver and check.

Step 1: Follow these steps to
update graphics drivers.

• Press Windows key + X and select Device Manager.
• Search for Display Adapters and expand it.
• Right click on the graphics driver and select
  Update driver software.
• Restart the System and check opening the application again.

Step 2: Uninstall and Reinstall the graphics card drivers
and update and check.

Can't play Hit It Rich game and system freezes

Thank you for your response.

I can understand how frustrating it would be. This issue might be due to corrupted profile or if the game is not installed completely. I suggest you to follow these steps and let us know if it works.

Could you please help me with the below questions:

• Are you aware of any changes happened on the computer prior to this issue?
  
• Have you tried playing this game on other browser (Google chrome or Mozilla) and check for the issue?
  

Step 1: Uninstall or Repair the game.

1. Press Windows and
   R key together on your Keyboard.
2. Type appwiz.cpl and hit enter.
   
3. Right click on the Hit it Rich app > Select Repair or uninstall it.
4. Reinstall the application and check for the issue.
   

Step 2: Create a new local account.

The reason might be due to user account corruption, so I would suggest you to ‘Create
a local user or administrator account’ and check if the issue persists.

Note: You will not see all your files under your default file location.
So your data will be saved under C:\Users\User_name.

• Have you tried downloading the game and then play and check if the same issue occurs?
• Does the same issue occurs with different games as well?

Try downloading the same and run it in compatibility mode and check if it helps:

Download the game from the computer manufacture's website for Windows 10, if not available.

Follow these steps to install the game in compatibility mode and check if that helps.

a. Download the game from the manufacturer’s website.

b. Right-click on the driver setup file and click on ‘properties’.

c. Click on the ‘compatibility’ tab and check the box ‘Run this program in compatibility mode for’ and select Windows 8.1/7 operating system from the drop down menu and proceed with the
installation.

d. Once this is done, restart the computer and check if the issue persists.
