    i've just bought a new HP Pavilion gaming 15 laptop with build in win 10 home.

    i've set all the microsoft acoount etc. and when i try to set the storage partion, the windows start to "repairing windows mode" and never end.

    it have notification like "“\WINDOWS\SYSTEM32\CONFIG\SYSTEM is missing or corrupt”. i've try many way except reinstall windows or the hardware. and it stil not fixed.


    my question are

    1. any idea how to fix it?

    2. if i reinstall my windows, can i get my license back?

    3. can i check am i already linked my microsoft account besides from laptop itself?


    PS: i only set my microsoft account when i first turn my laptop on. i not remember am i already linked my microsoft account with the windows license.

    windows/system32/config/system acpi.sys is missing or corrupt

    I have a HP PC and it has windows 10 on it. It was running great for 3 months and then it said windows/system32/config/system acpi.sys is missing or corrupt and now it has the windows automatic repair but anything i try to do it just goes back to automatic
    repair. I dont have a installation disk please help me

    missing windows / system32 / configure / system?

    ok so i ive just reformatted and while installing drivers my comp reboots and it comes up saying that im missing windows/system32/configure/system file or something... how can i fix this or do i need to reformat again and see?

    Problem with missing config\system

    Have an old Compaq with XP Professional software. It displayed: Windows could not start because the following file is missing or corrupt:

    \windows2\system32\config\system. Tried to solve the problem by using an SP3 disk but when pressing a key when it asks to press one, the screen goes blank. . Have to emphasize that it is \windows2\
    which I don't know if it makes a difference.

    Any suggestions?
