Windows 10: Windows\system32\logfiles\srt\srttrail.txt windows 10 issue FIX

For me this is what fixed this issue. I was updating a pc i hadnt run in a while and ran into this issue.


After doing this:

[COLOR=rgba51, 51, 51, 1]

1. [COLOR=rgba77, 85, 100, 1]From the Boot options menu, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options.[/COLOR]
2. [COLOR=rgba77, 85, 100, 1]Click Command Prompt.[/COLOR]
3. [COLOR=rgba77, 85, 100, 1]In the window that opens, type in or copy and paste the following command and then press Enter to execute it:[/COLOR]

[/COLOR]
[COLOR=rgba51, 51, 51, 1]

• bcdedit /set {default} recoveryenabled No

1. [COLOR=rgba77, 85, 100, 1]Wait for the process to finish and then try booting your computer.[/COLOR]

[/COLOR]


I was given further boot options upon restart. i noticed that the file causing the issue was norton file so i booted without running the early detection antivirus, and it booted into windows where i could complete the updates.

System\32\Logfiles\srt\srttrail msg how to repair

Just got the 'old' System\32\Logfiles\srt\srttrail msg and a crashed Win10 laptop that will not auto repair

I know this is not a new problem, but any solution seems random.

Anyone have a list the series of system codes to put in the command prompt?
