Windows 10: Windows tablet not detecting touchscreen and battery

I have a windows 10 tablet that i formatted and installed windows 10 all over again. Now the device seems to have numerous issues.First of all the touchscreen doesn't work.Second there is no battery indicator even in settings.Third the power button and volume keys don't work inside windows.What i have tried so for:Installed updates.Installed the backed up drivers i had gotten from the device from this article: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/forum/all/windows-10-back-all-drivers/3a674fe9-4425-4ad5-ac80-006d7b2683beInstalled some driver update software.Tried windows troubleshoot fro

windows 7 tablet edition?

There is no "tablet" edition of windows 7 (all versions of windows 7 except possibly basic have the same functionality when it comes to tablets)- if it detects you have a tablet pc it changes a few settings (icon sizes) and installs a couple of extra applications which can be used with wacom/touchscreen style setups.

You can install windows 7 from USB with no problems, but I am not familiar enough with the steps required to do it.

 

Battery not detected (Unknown remaining)

Hi,

First of all I suggest you to try with a driver remove and reinstall with Device Manager. To do so:

1. Press WINDOWS + X

2. Click on "Device Manager"

3. Click on "Battery"

4. Right click on the first element on list

5. Click on "Remove"

6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the second element on list

7. Click on "Detects Hardware change" (monitor icon)

Then reboot your system and check if the problem still exists.

Windows 11 Tablet Mode on Desktop with touchscreen

Hello!

I have a kitchen workstation PC that does not have a connected keyboard or mouse. I used to have Windows 10 on it and it had the convenient feature of turning on "Tablet Mode" in the system tray. I tried Windows 11, but that doesn't seem to be available anymore. I read that Windows 11 detects the touchscreen automatically, but it isn't in tablet mode for me. I have an Asus VT229H touchscreen monitor. How can I get tablet mode working in Windows 11?
