Windows tablet unable to ping after a day or more

I'm doing a project to keep all windows tablets running while they are closed with the keyboard attached. I need this working so that we can push updates to them or other admin stuff 24/7. The tablets are HP Elite X2 1012 G2 Tablet running Windows Enterprise x64. They are using WiFi. Most of them are working properly. I'm not able to ping them. Wake on Lan isn't an option. I'm not sure if this is a Windows setting or if I need to contact HP.

I have all the power settings set correctly. Including the power plan. The vast majority stay on the network. I've looked at it being a DHCP issue and the usual network switch settings. Nothing. There is no BIOS update available to update. The usual BIOS settings are enabled correctly. Everything we can think of doing, including updating the drivers Wifi drivers and reimaging the tablets.

    :)
