Windows 10: Windows takes 5-15 minutes to startup, reboots during process

As the headine suggest. This began after installing a cheap KVM switch USB and HDMI which is no longer being used, but I believe may have damaged the motherboard. The machine sometimes boots normally, but more often stops midway through, the lighted keyboard and mouse may go dark and light a few times, then the machine eventually comes online. I have a similar issue on shutdown went from near-instant to taking several minutes and recovering from sleep mode.Windows event log doesn't provide much help, but it finally created a "BugCheck" log entry, with a minidump file created. Windows 10 taskbar disappears for a few minutes(5-15), then appears.

Taskbar disappears for a few minutes(5-15), then appears. After reboot always appears.

Autohide is on or off is no matter. Looks like taskbar process freeze or gone.

Windows 10 updated from 8.1(clean) 2 days ago. Laptop bought 2 days ago on Microsoftstore.com. Updated up to date.

 

Can't get GPU-Z to start with Windows 8.1 startup

I'm not sure how to do that. Could you list the steps for a noob?
