Discus and support Windows takes two hours to boot every reboot. Goes to spinning circles in Windows 10 Updates and Activation to solve the problem; ok, will attempt BSOD Collector now.     Simrick I was thinking maybe Rob could d/l Kyhi's recovery tools and put it on a bootable usb stick, incase we need to use one of those apps on it?? What do you think?

    I'm hanging in. I'm not a novice. I've probably built 100 machines since Windows 95 and have experienced a lot of issues. I have no problem doing very complex or involved fixes nor am I timid about it. I'm not an IT professional and am self-trained so I don't understand the subtleties like you guys do, but I know a tremendous amount more than the average user. So, no need to baby me. I can do anything you come up with. In a way, as frustrating as this is, I find it fascinating.

    Yes, or he probably already has a Macrium rescue media created. But Kyhi's tool is much better. Either one will have the Macrium "fix boot" function in the Macrium software, which may come in handy.

    Yes, I could tell you are quite well-versed and comfortable in all things computer! *Wink We find it all fascinating as well. And we love a challenge.

    Yeah, didn't think that would work in safe mode.

    Please post the collector info here at this point. I don't know if we want to start another thread yet - one of the BSOD analysts can make that call.

    FYI, I've tried Macrium boot fix many times already. No help. Believe me, I spent 20 hours on this before I even posted here. I never post until I feel I've utilized every thing I possibly can on my own having Google as my only technical resource.
