Windows 10: Windows task manager integrated GPU 0% and no nvidia gpu

Hi I have recently noticed this problem which I may have had for a long time but I didn't realize it until now. The problem I am facing is that my computer is apparently not using neither the iGPU our the nvidia GPU, when I open the task manager in the performance tab the GPU section is always on 0% no matter what, also as I understand the task manager should show 2 GPUs one is the Intel integrated graphics and the other is the Nvidia GPU but it only shows the Intel graphics. Another problem is that when searching for a solution it says that I have to install the Nvidia drivers from their we

GPU not being recognized, Nvidia control panel won't open

I have a Dell XPS 15 7590 laptop with a Nvidia Geforce GTX 1650 GPU. The GPU is not being used for games and doesn't show up in task manager under processes. Only the integrated GPU 0 is available. In device manager, it occasionally has a yellow arrow and gives error code 43. Nvidia Control panel will not open. I attempted to update drivers through Geforce Experience and it completes the install, but always gives the option to install it again, indicating there's a problem. Is there a way to determine if the issue is software related or if the GPU is just dead?

Things I have tried:

• deleted and reinstalled latest graphics drivers directly from web (31.0.15.4629)
  
• updated BIOS and restarted my computer and
  
• stopped all nvidia processes in task manager
  
• made sure nvidia related services were running
  
• disabled fast boot
  
• deleted and reinstalled nvidia control panel
  

Any help would be appreciated.

You can now view GPU performance in the Task Manager in Windows 10 if you have a dedicated GPU, the Task Manager will show you performance stats for both the integrated and dedicated GPU since you just mentioned that you've already upgraded your PC to the Fall
Creators Update. But, since the GPU graph is not showing on your PC's Task Manager, there's a possibility that your computer wasn't meet requirements for GPU in the Task Manager. To know more about it, you may check this article:
